Berezhnyi Article Set for Publication in Slavia¶

Oleh Shynkarenko's article "Vasyl Berezhnyi: Collapse of Techno-Communism" is set to appear in Slavia, Journal for Slavic Philology, issue 3, 2026 — the oldest international journal devoted to Slavic philology, published continuously since 1921.

The article traces Berezhnyi's evolution from the techno-communist optimism of his early Soviet-era fiction to the postmodern irony of his late work, reading it as a personal mirror of the broader collapse of 20th-century positivist thought. Authorial corrections were completed ahead of the issue's layout.
